mujie96 0 #1 August 31, 2002 Has anyone put a 150 into a Javelin TJ or OJ? I know you can go a size smaller than the chart says and be ok, but can you go bigger? Blue skies! Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
alan 1 #2 September 1, 2002 You can generally go both up and down one size. I would advise you to e-mail the manufacture (Sunpath) for a specific answer.alan
RozeAY 0 #3 September 3, 2002 I have a friend who puts a Nitron 150 into an OJ and another who puts a Stiletto 150 into a TJN. It can be done :-)

steve1 5 #5 September 3, 2002 My hornet 170 isn't supposed to fit my javelin J-2, but it does fit very well. A little snug, but it packs up nice. Steve1
skymedic 0 #6 September 3, 2002 When I had my javelin I had a hornet 210 in a j-3.....and it fit well. Hornet's tend to pack up rather small especialy when you psycho pack em.... Marc otherwise known as Mr.Fallinwoman....
pekkakurtz 0 #7 September 3, 2002 I have a Javelin J1 and a 170 Spectre, and it fits. So it´s one size bigger. What kind of main do you want to put in your rig? And what size of reserve? It´s all about the packing volume of your parachute, some fit and some don´t.
mujie96 0 #8 September 3, 2002 I want a rig that I can put a 150 in that will also hold a 135 and maybe eventually a 120. I'm kinda lightweight (135 out the door) but I'm also very new so I'm using BIG canopies at the moment. I don't want to have to buy a new container when I'm ready to downsize. Thanks! SkySlut 0 #9 September 4, 2002 I have a Velocity (which is cross braced and packs like a 107) in a TJN (made for a 135) and it doesnt look that bad at all. Only when its really humid and I have some extra time to pack, it looks a bit funny...
dove 0 #10 September 4, 2002 I originally had a triathlon 150 in my TJN.... then a spectre 135 and now a heatwave 120. Fits great now. Any smaller, though, and I need a new container. Fall in dove.
