Skyflier 0 #1 September 12, 2002 Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with flying a hickster canopy. It is an Australian made canopy and I can find no reviews in the gear section nor do I know anyone who jumps one (maybe that should tell me something) Any info would be greatly appreciated...cheers Jesse
Jiggs 0 #2 September 12, 2002 I have virtually no experience on a Hicky's canopies so I can't perfrom a comparison but: 1) Think of a stilleto. They are very easy on the risers and supposedly have a longer recovery arc. 2) Check his website (find it via the APF website) 3) I find it hard to believe that no one on your DZ has them!"Don't blame malice for what stupidity can explain." skymick 0 #4 September 13, 2002 I have never jumped one but in my DZ (melb, oz) quite a few people have been buying them recdently and ive heard nothing but good things about them, apparently a really good (and cheap) no frills canopy (ie they dont have any x-bracing or stuff like that) with solid perfermance. But anyway thats what ive just heard from around the DZ so its no 'professional' opinion from a rigger or anything like that
