skybytch 273 #2 September 30, 2002 The best place to get canopy sizing advice is your instructors - they've seen you fly and land a canopy. Take all advice you get here with a large grain of salt. There are a lot of variables in choosing your canopy types/sizes - things like how aggressive you are, what kind of landings you want to do, how often you can jump, how well you're landing the PD190 you're jumping now... Based solely on your weight and experience, I'd suggest looking for something no smaller than 150 sq ft for main and reserve. I would suggest getting a zp main if you can afford it; they have more flare power and last longer. Some canopy names to consider - Spectre, Sabre2, Hornet, Safire, Triathlon, Omega, Omni.
