Remember:

• DO NOT do business with anyone who offers to send you payment for a higher amount than your selling price with the understanding that you'll send back the balance.


• Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of a "client" or another "customer".


• Be suspicious of anyone claiming to be from Nigeria or West Africa


• If you agree to accept a check payment, then do not send anything, gear or "change" before the check cleared. And be careful, if you manage to clear a fraudulent check then you may be liable for the damages if the bank finds out later. Make sure your bank authenticates the check.


• If it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.

Classic scammer reply.

Canned response with no info from original ad. Sent to any and all ads hoping for sucker to fall for it.
Will pay by cashier check. It will be phony bank. If you send "item", you will be out the money from cashed check once bank takes money out of your account, and also you lose your gear you just shipped.
Terrible use of "engrish" language.

If you don't know the buyer, sell through a rigger/escrow or find someone that can vouch for the buyer. This sport is too small not to know someone that knows the other person.

I got one from the same ASS using a different name and e-mail but the same phone number. Maybe the Mods can link his phone number, or someone track the number to a land address. That would be fun!

some recent pictures or videos of the item if you have them although I
am OK with the one I saw on drop zone. So what re you letting it go

check.. that is the only way I could complete the transaction right
