Buying a container

Ok, so I'm looking in the clasifieds for a used container and this cousins daves.com comes up with some nice stuff. Anyone know of this company? What reputation does he have? I don'y want to buy something from a crook.

I've never bought from him but I've only heard good things.

Key thing when buying any used container online or by phone is to be sure that you can return it for a refund if it the harness doesn't fit you.

I talked with cuz on the phone before his site was up. He seemed very reasonable and straight forward. He suggested a rigger inspection and a demo period if he could send a rig to my DZ. He just didn't have what I was looking for at the time. But I would buy from him with confidence.

Damn, how come it seems that most used gear will only accomodate smaller canopies, and why does it also seem that nothing bigger than 200 sq ft exists on the used market. Sheesh!!

Bigger stuff is out there - you just have to look harder and get a bit lucky to find it. Where I work we get bigger stuff in pretty regularly, but it usually sells really quick.

Have you tried calling/emailing the various gear dealers that sell used equipment?
