This is a request for anyone who can help us!

For many people the night of the 22nd of April, was a lifelong dream turned into a nightmare. At about 3’o clock the morning, a fire raged through the hangars of Skydive Cape Town, a local parachuting club in South Africa. As you can imagine this devastating incident has caused heartbreak to Peter Mauchen, Ronel Horne and Anton Scalabrino, the three owners of the club who have invested their life savings into this operation, not to mention the fifteen others who rely on the club for their income.
As you can see by the article below, all the equipment and two planes were destroyed in the fire making it impossible for them to continue running the business. Although there was insurance, this has proved insufficient to cover the replacement cost of all the equipment.
What the have lost:
11 Vector Tandem Rigs
12 Student Rigs
Cessna 206
Cessna 182
Video Equipment
A lot of privately owned rigs of members.
The whole hangar
I am sending this letter as an appeal to anyone out there who can help by donating either moneys, equipment or just lend a hand in the clean-up operation to help these unfortunate people to get back on their feet and help to rebuild the dream.
Should you wish to contribute in any way, please contact either myself (japie.muller@engenoil.com) or Peter Mauchen (skydivecapetown@global.co.za.)
Kind Regards,
Japie Muller
