freeflyswc 0 #76 August 17, 2002 holy S#!t man , Dont get me wrong i'm a jumper with about your # of jumps and I fly a wing loading of 1.98 on my xfire , but 180-360!!! dont you think thats a little much . I do 180 hooks or 270 carves and get probably just as much speed . why chance it so early? you might think your just gods gift to canopy flying but you are still in the learning curve a little bit . I also beleive that you wont learn anything if you dont try it . So go big be safe have fun
rhino 0 #77 August 17, 2002 God's gift to canopy flight? I would be careful on how personal your posts get. You don't know me NOR have you seen me fly a parachute. Go back in the forums and find WHY hooksnswoop does hooks like he does. I share his exact belief and have adopted his technique. Why is 180-360 a bit much? Because YOU aren't comfortable doing it? That 360 is over so quickly and I am into the inverted dive in a second. Why chance it so early?? BECAUSE I LOVE IT!! Your carve at your jump numbers can be twice as dangerous as my inverted diving hook. I have perfect directional control and all I have to do is let off the front risers if I am coming in hot. You "in a carve" have to stop your carve and miss your lane all together getting in other peoples air space. I don't have that problem. If you think the xfire is fun you should try the xfire2!!
