superstu 0 #1 September 23, 2003 I've been jumping a stiletto for the past 300 jumps and now i'm in the process of downsizing. but i was wondering if i should stick with the stiletto, which i really do like, or try something different that i haven't really considered. i've put jumps on cobalt's, jedei's, and alpha's. I would like to try a crossfire, but what else is there? In the long run i would like to go crossbraced and i know the recovery arces on them are pretty long so i'm kind of taking that into account, that's why i'm considering switching from the stiletto to something that will dive longer. Thanks by the way if anybody is selling something that might be what i'm talking about in the 120 range for $600 you can PM me.Slip Stream Air Sports Do not go softly, do not go quietly, never back down

DrewEckhardt 0 #5 September 24, 2003 If you're going to buy a new canopy, I'd get a Samurai. I did.... Otherwise, it would depend on your wing loading, how much money you want to spend, and how long you plan on keeping the canopy. If you're going to be <= 1.7 pounds/square foot (maybe a bit more), don't want to spend much, and just using it as a transitional canopy I might just buy a Stiletto 120. For $500 you might find one with a new line set, even less if there are a couple hundred jumps on it.
