That's what I though when I had on earlier this year:-)
How are you loading it? I tried the 129, 119 and then the 109 ending up at 1.8. I was expecting the 109 to be the canopy too far but really enjoyed it. I loved the sensitivity to the harness. Real easy to fly just by leaning.

I'm loading the 170 at 1.5/1 i'm not in the market for a 170, but wanted to make sure i could handle it first before i downsized to a 150 or 135 if i lose some weight

QuoteWOW!!!!! This canopy is freaking amazing. It kinda opens like it's gonna smack ya, nice and soft (or i'm just having nightmares) and then it just snivels as you control the canopy with harness inputs.
It's like falling into warm ice cream......dreamy drooly openings.
Fly it like you stole it!
hey guys sorry i haven't posted much about the x-fire2. i've been dealing with a death in the family and just haven't had the time to write a long review like that of the cobalt. i will be sure to do so as soon as i can.
just so people know what i think of it, AMAZING canopy, opens soft, turns great, nice flare etc. front riser presure could be a little less, but makes up for in the openings.
i'll post more probably next tuesday when i get back from the funeral and family stuff

Amazing canopy, truely amazing. I only got 6 jumps on it this weekend due to the weather, but we'll be jumping tomorrow and then over the weekend.
I do think though, or just haven't found the sweet spot, that the comp cobalt swooped a bit farther. I'll be able to test it out better tomorrow.
