ptwob231 0 #27 November 21, 2003 So heres a new twist on the Ve vs VX vs Xaos 27 vs. anything else on the face of the earth: When it comes to competitions such as the world cup, is it the canopy that gives the pilot the edge or the pilot that gives the canopy the edge? or look at it this way: If Heath were jumping a VX would he still have won? Or would Clint Clawson have beat him on a Ve? just food for thought beer
jumperconway 0 #28 November 24, 2003 If Heath were jumping a VX or a Xoas 27, he would have blown the # he did for more efficient wing! I jump a 27 cell 79 loaded 2.4/1 and jump 2,
Xaosrules 0 #29 November 25, 2003 I belive that Heath would have won with either canopies. When it comes to his level its all in the pilot. He could probably beat most swoopers even with a regular elliptical 9-cell like the Catana. Heath is the best swooper - thats way he won. When it comes to canopies I think the best canopy are the canopy You preform the best with. For me that is the Xaos-27, for others it might be the VX or Velocity. The difference in performance for these canopies are not very big.
