i'm still so amazed that people have so much loyalty in a company that they continue to jump something that hurts them

Probably the same reason you jump a revised version of a canopy that killed people.;):S

Canopies do not kill people. If they did how come some many people can jump them time after time without a problem?

If a canopy landed you just fine last time, if you do the same thing on the next jump so will it.

i'm pretty sure all canopies kill people...

i'm just really really glad i DO NOT jump a canopy that could break my femur, hip, pelvis, back, neck, etc. just on a normal (not malfunction) opening sequence?!?!!! NO THANKS!

All canopies can do any of that. The Sabre's never had a reputation collasping for no reason.:S
Crossfire 1 NO THANKS!

Its really not an issue anymore with the Crossfire 2.

The sabre has been the most popular canopy for over a decade. There are more of those out there than there ever will be of Crossfires. Not everyone experiences those problems with the 1 or 2.

When the Sabre was introduced in the 90's it was a major advancement in canopies, people made mistakes, people had to learn packing again, so with those mistakes came a reputation. Fault of the canopy, not necessarily.

Loyalty to a company? How's that reserve?

It still amazes me how many people confuse the Sabre 2 and original Sabre. I really wish PD would have just named it something else since its a totally different canopy. But anyhow any canopy can and will slam you .......

I totally understand. It is like how when Ford cars first came out they were the best, most dependable, all round car made in America, so everyone bought them. But now-a-days other car companies have surpassed Ford in technology and safety, but Ford continues to sell based on their name and the fact that they're made in good 'ol America. Are Fords now the best cars on the market?...well I'm sure Ford owners believe so.......

P.S. I own a Toyota:ph34r:
