AggieDave 6 #2 May 11, 2004 If I remember correctly, every PD canopy I've seen (noticed you have Sabre2 marked in your profile) is setup with the "tape facing up" and the solid color down.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Spizzzarko 0 #3 May 11, 2004 Usually the tape is on the toip of the slider, but it shouldn't really matter.
diablopilot 2 #4 May 11, 2004 It does matter a little bit for two reasons. 1) Some sliders are built with a "dome" in them. There's a term for it that is slipping my mind, but it's to dive the slider more resistive force/area without increasing it's perimeter dimensions. 2) The tapes should be at the top to prevent premature wear. If reversed you risk prematurely destroying the stitching holding the tapes to the slider material.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
