ManBird 0 #27 September 2, 2004 We're not seeing the same thing. The RAGE looks thicker to me."¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click
Canuck 0 #28 September 2, 2004 Yup, me too. And it's 10 sq.ft. smaller, so all things being equal, it should in fact be thinner. Still a cool design though, and probably no thicker than my Velocity. Canuck
diablopilot 2 #29 September 2, 2004 I see the same. It is still a nice design, and as I think has been mentioned if the techology could be combined with a rigid (x-braced) airfoil it might make a monster of a canopy. May be hard to do based on how far the nose rolls back into the cell. Complexity of build may be the hurdle.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. FreeFlyFridge 0 #30 September 3, 2004 Ok, ok, thicker,....thinner,...., equal....whatever! Give us europeans a chance! We try hard to keep things moving and I think we´ve did a pretty good job in this case! However, I like it and everyone out there that get´s a chance to fly it should do so. It´s a really nice canopy and worth a try! Peace!------------------------------------------------------ ROCK ON,.....HARD! Proud European!!
diablopilot 2 #31 September 3, 2004 QuoteGive us europeans a chance! Oh I will! I personaly believe there is more innovation happening in Europe than in the US when it comes to canopy design right now. One of my current favorite non crossbraced 9 cell elipticals is produced there.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
