CanopyPiloting 0 #2 May 18, 2006 News from www.canopypiloting.com The Mile Hi Swoop Park is coming right along and will feature several new additions for the upcoming PST event. The swoop park has just recieved all new inflatable course markers which will be used in conjunction with the PST's electronic timing system and gate buzzers. All the competition courses were surveyed and placed in fixed positions at the bottom of the pond before it was filled with water. Each position was anchored with a flat 45lb weight under the dirt at the bottom of the pond. Each anchor position was built with a bungee cord that can be attached to the inflatable markers that float on the surface and define the course. This new layout will make for faster course changes between events and less course maintence. In addition to the new inflatable courses and electronic timing system the swoop park will feature bleachers, score board, packing area, catered food, vendor area, parking and it's very own paved road access!
