Help locate a video of Sabre 2 swoop

I cannot find it... I think it was on one of the Colorado CPC events, awesome sabre 2 swoops... Does anyone know who it was, distance, type of turn, wind conditions?? May be a link to the video...
thanks!

Are you talking about LoudDan at last year's CPC Championships? He did well under his Sabre2 making 270 degree turns on it. But it's not like he was smoking the competition in the distance events. In fact it was more the other way around. But he did very well on 9 cell wing when most people were on cross-braced canopies (many with RDS systems). Oh and yes we did have a slight cross/down wind component during that comp. Dan Raymond recently updated the raw footage video of the event and it can be found here. It's an MP4 file, so you will need the appropriate application to view it. I use VLC which seems to work very well on MP4 files.

Not sure about the name, but i do recall seeing some great swoops of someone under a Sabre2. Do you know what his wingloading/canopy size was? How far did he go in the distance round?

I started downloading the big CPC 05 file i found on skydivingmovies.com - wonder if the link you gave is to the same one. Thanks for the help!

you might want to contact paxton vineyard, he jumps somewhere down in florida, but represents pd and has thousands of swooping jumps under the sabre 2, In fact the company wanted him to continue to fly that parachute even though his skills presede it because he can show people what the cnaopy is capable of doing, dont know if there is or has been any video of him,

Yep, Paxton used to swoop the sh*t out of that Sabre2! I don't have any video, but The Skydive Store used to use a picture of one of his SA2 swoops in their ads... B| I think Shane Tully (sp?) took the pic.

I could be mistaken, but I think he was loading his 150 (or was it a 135?) @ around 1.5:1+.

I jump my Sabre2 97 a lot more than I get to jump my Velo these days. It's my primary wingsuit main. I load it at 1.85 and it fucking screams. No, I don't get Velo distance out of it, but who cares; I do have one of those as well for other jumps.

How far do you go on that thing? Obviously not x-braced distances but i heard someone in CPC (Dan McAllister sp?) went 230+ feet? have you head of anyone gone more then 300 on a sabre 2?

I jump a 120 at 1.5/1ish loading... don't know specific distances, but for awhile my DZ had gates set 100 feet apart and I was regularly getting 200+ in no or slight wind. That was just doing 270's and not using rear risers. I've probably hit close to 250 with rears.

I am FAR from being an expert swooper, so I'm sure 300+ is doable with the right pilot. Sabre2 is a vastly underrated swooping machine for those who aren't yet ready for the X-braces.
