SoCal CPC Competition info

As per Bundy Taylor's request; here is the information for the 2007 SoCal district competitions:

March 10th Perris Valley
April 7th Perris Valley
May 5th Perris Valley
June 2nd Perris Valley
July 14th Perris Valley

Competitions will be held on Saturday, and the Sunday of that weekend will be used for a weather day if needed. Competition will commence at 7:30am and will be held at the Perris Valley pond. Good luck to all competitors and I hope to see you there.

My goal last year was not to finish last...my goal this year is not to finish in the bottom two!!

Bundy Taylor has been working his ass off promoting the events locally and ensuring the pond is tip top shape for competition. He had all three courses set up one week prior to the event which allowed people to get some practice well in advance. This was particularly important as we had a Saturday comp. More details will follow...again the results will be up shortly.

It's not really that big of a mystery why nobody wants to compete in that region is it? I know several people who voiced their concerns only to fall on deaf ears.

Hi Jim,

We are getting some more interest in it now, but the weather here is still in the spring time mode so we will not have events here for at least another month. We are working with what we got. Take it easy Jim.

Mark, PLEASE accept my apology. I had no idea I was "bitching". I have not "made any effort to do anything" since it's not my region, I was stating that many others HAVE by using communication.
I never said it was easy, and thanks for the offer to try it, but I'll pass.

Don't know why I responded to this thread, it was obvious a mistake since I hurt your feelings. I guess I would have spouted off a bunch of nonsence if a friend of mine was questioned.

This was a e-mail I received regarding the May 5th event:

The next meet will be Saturday May 5, 2007. Registration will close Friday night May 4, 2007 at 6:00 PM. Come see me in Square One again. I will not take any registrations on Saturday morning. We are looking at a sunrise start. Most likely at 6:00 AM. I will confirm the start time when we get closer to the beginning of May. There is a RW Big Way Camp going on in Perris so we have to be done and out of the way ASAP. If you can't make the Friday night registration, Let me know. Just email me at this address and we can work something out.
