freeflyn 0 #4 March 13, 2007 We had a terrific attendance; 18 competitors and 3 guests, we are currently putting everything together (photos, results....) they will be up shortly. Sorry for the delay...
Spizzzarko 0 #5 March 13, 2007 18 Competitors! That is amazing! I'm having a hard enough time finding 4 that will commit, and I'm one of the 4.
freeflyn 0 #6 March 13, 2007 Bundy Taylor has been working his ass off promoting the events locally and ensuring the pond is tip top shape for competition. He had all three courses set up one week prior to the event which allowed people to get some practice well in advance. This was particularly important as we had a Saturday comp. More details will follow...again the results will be up shortly.

freefli 2 #10 April 10, 2007 It's not really that big of a mystery why nobody wants to compete in that region is it? I know several people who voiced their concerns only to fall on deaf ears.
Spizzzarko 0 #11 April 10, 2007 Hi Jim, We are getting some more interest in it now, but the weather here is still in the spring time mode so we will not have events here for at least another month. We are working with what we got. Take it easy Jim.

I just love to see peeps bitch about something but they make no effort to do anything.. this shit is not easy, why don't you try it sometime?
SkymonkeyONE 4 #13 April 11, 2007 I feel their pain. I got next to no participation the year that I ran a district.
freefli 2 #14 April 11, 2007 Oh boy. Should have known better than to say anything. Mark, PLEASE accept my apology. I had no idea I was "bitching". I have not "made any effort to do anything" since it's not my region, I was stating that many others HAVE by using communication. I never said it was easy, and thanks for the offer to try it, but I'll pass. Don't know why I responded to this thread, it was obvious a mistake since I hurt your feelings. I guess I would have spouted off a bunch of nonsence if a friend of mine was questioned. Sorry to everyone else for the thread hijack. Back to your posting, I'm out here, this site sucks. freeflyn 0 #15 April 13, 2007 This was a e-mail I received regarding the May 5th event: The next meet will be Saturday May 5, 2007. Registration will close Friday night May 4, 2007 at 6:00 PM. Come see me in Square One again. I will not take any registrations on Saturday morning. We are looking at a sunrise start. Most likely at 6:00 AM. I will confirm the start time when we get closer to the beginning of May. There is a RW Big Way Camp going on in Perris so we have to be done and out of the way ASAP. If you can't make the Friday night registration, Let me know. Just email me at this address and we can work something out. socalswoopers@gmail.com We had 20 people registered for the April event, however, due to weather it was canceled. Hope to see ya all out there in May!
