Canuck 0 #1 August 6, 2007 I wasn't there so can't confirm, but the word is that John Zulliani has won Canadian Nationals, Jay Mo second, and Chris Hayes third. Way to keep kickin' ass John! Canuck

Canuck 0 #4 August 14, 2007 Not that I can find, but they will eventually end up printed in Canpara, and I can post them then. Canuck

CanuckInUSA 0 #6 August 14, 2007 Do you know if Brent Henderson competed? I met him last year in Colorado and he is also a very good swooper. Also, I guess I need to be more proactive in keeping in touch with what goes on in this country. I'm not all that active at the moment and maybe I missed something in the Canpar mag, but I wasn't even aware that those Ontario people were holding some national swoop comp. I place the blame on myself for not being there, but it was not well advertized. Or was it? Maybe next year ... Canuck 0 #7 August 14, 2007 Yup, you missed the full page color ads than ran in the last few issues of Canpara advertising for the 2007 Canadian Nationals covering all disciplines, including Canopy Piloting... Again, I was not there, so this may be inacurate, but I heard that Brent chowed hard early (maybe even round 1). Not sure if he completed the meet or not. LMAO, as I said, I have only myself to blame. Not sure if I would have even been there since I sure as hell am not benefiting in this so called economic boom of ours what with the ultra high cost of housing here. But in the future maybe I should pay more attention to the mag. Quote but I heard that Brent chowed hard early Ouch, he is a good canopy pilot. MrBrant 0 #9 August 14, 2007 Quote Are the event results available anywhere? They were sent out on the CSPA e-mail chatlist. I've ripped out the CP scores from the rest of them (the original file was 1.2 MB ). Below in 3 parts:
bob.dino 1 #10 August 15, 2007 Jay beat John on every round bar two - he was 30cm behind on one distance run, and the other was a 0 on a speed round. Shows just how important it is to be consistently hitting the gates I suppose...
frost 1 #11 August 15, 2007 Quote Shows just how important it is to be consistently hitting the gates Absolutely! But thats where a little bit of luck comes in, to go back a point i made in a neighboring thread... Jay got unlucky in one round and it cost him the first position. And even then he finished just 11 points behind...
CanuckInUSA 0 #12 August 15, 2007 I've only seen John Z once and that was 12 months ago at the CPC championships. Not sure if he's gone to a bigger turn since then, but one year ago he was still only doing 270s yet I was impressed at how fast he could get that stock Velo of his diving at the ground with a simple 270. John Z has some serious talent and because he is a pretty young guy he should be around winning comps for many years to come. There is some seriously good talent out there on the pro ranks these days and a new batch of talent is poised to join the ranks. But I think we can all agree that Jay Moledski is still King of the Hill. But not even Tiger Woods wins every comp he enters. The best has yet to come. Jay may be the king today. But someone, they could be already on the pro circuit or they could be just learning to swoop, will eventually dethrone him. dayle 0 #13 August 16, 2007 Brento completed the competition, and the chow really wasn't THAT hard, it looked alot worse than it was. (as it usually does, LOL) and yes, John is still doing his 270's
