KEVINLOVE 0 #51 October 4, 2007 I don't want to fuel the fire. I'm not going to go into that much detail. This situation has escalated out of control. Everyone can take the information presented by both sides and consider the character and past behavior of those involved and come to your own conclusion. Before I give a brief statement of my version, I want to say something. I didn't log on to dropzone .com until tonight. I didn't realize that this topic created any kind of debate. What I want to say to all those who spoke kind words about me and gave me the benefit of the doubt...THANK YOU. I was very touched when I read the posts. Those kind words meant a lot to me. I know who my bro's really are. This is what happened...I was not performing @ a level the team was happy with in certain areas (that I will not discuss) I brought up leaving the team a month before I quit the team. I admit that I could have been more professional in the way I left. But my attempts to communicate and address the problems were brushed aside. As if the problems would magically disappear. I won't place 100% of the blame on any one person. I accept my part in this situation. Teams inherentiy have problems. It's difficult for ANY team to function well, get along, and stay together. This issue should never have become a topic for the public. When mis information is posted on a world wide forum that isn't fully true. I feel I have to stand up for myself and tell my side of the story. I'll finish by saying neither side was happy. We agreed to keep the situation "low Key" and make my departure from the team as quiet as possible. It didn't work out that way. As anyone who logs on to canopypiloting.com can see. If if were not for that "press release" this would not be the issue it has become. I'm going to remain as professional as possible and maintain my own personal integrity. i apologize for the lack of details, but i'm honering my word to not disclose matters that are private to TEAM EXTREME. I can only hope that the other parties involved will show the same perfessionalism. So we can all let this sleeping dog lie. Thanks again to all those who spoke kind words and gave me the benefit of the doubt. Judgeing me by my actions and there personal experiences with me. Thanks again! Sincerely, Kevin D. frost 1 #55 October 4, 2007 This whole deal is disgusting. Jim Slaton handled it in the worst possible way. Respect to you, Kevin, for staying professional and cool in this. Those who can think for themselves even a little bit have made their decisions even before you posted this. Good luck in whatever you choose to do in the future, bro.
