matt6242 0 #1 August 13, 2008 A friend of mine noticed a couple of weeks ago that I seemed to have inadvertantly developed the habit of dragging my feet and touching down with my feet slightly splayed like daffy duck. Video confirmed that was the case when I would bend my knees to reduce the distance between me and the ground before touch down. I havent paid much attention to what my feet due over the past couple of years. Do you keep a feet thought when landing when landing ? Now every time I go over the hill my first thought is where are my feet, where should they be. Just wondering.

DougH 270 #3 August 14, 2008 It depends for me. Lately I have been sliding out the end of some landings like a baseball slide and then using the end of the flare to pop up nicely onto my feet. I have been too lazy to run I guess. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
