buggsyboo 0 #1 October 12, 2008 Hello, I was just wondering which type of altimeter is most accurate, and most used my expirenced swoopers?? Thanks
ianmdrennan 2 #2 October 12, 2008 I think you'll find that most use the Neptune by Alt-2 (visually and audibly) OR the Viso by L&B (visually) and optima by L&B (audible). There are a few others out there, but those are the two I see the most. Blues, IanPerformance Designs Factory Team
everymansaved 0 #3 October 20, 2008 I use an Optima and a Viso, both by L&B and I would highly recomend them. The guide mode on the Optime (series of beeps getting faster and faster until your landing turn altitude) and the +/- 10ft accuracy on the Viso were incredibly helpful when refining my setup.God made firefighters so paramedics would have heroes...and someone can put out the trailer fires. BMFin 0 #4 October 20, 2008 With the viso you are able to see max vertical speed under canopy. (I suppose its not possible with the neptune)

I just started 270's and ran into a minor problem. My death siren goes off on my dytter when I'm landing now, and my Neptune goes back into freefall mode sometimes ."If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.
