JohanW 0 #5 September 25, 2009 I suspect it's on the island of Texel NL, or maybe the Dutch mainland North Sea coast. I recognise the names, not the place.Johan. I am. I think.
AdD 1 #6 September 26, 2009 Yep this is what it's all about, I flew my Bobcat 16.5m in a 15mph wind for 90 mins on the beach the other day off a similar 80' hill, FOR FREEE!! GL specific gear makes this stuff 10x easier, I hear Point of the Mountain Utah and Sun Valley ID are the best places in the States to get some.Life is ez On the dz Every jumper's dream 3 rigs and an airstream
Combat_Wombat 0 #7 September 26, 2009 Nice man, if you look at the location we are soaring, what kind of GL gear/size would you recommend for a 160 pound guy like me? I like speed and want to be able to fly in 30+ mph winds as well as lower winds.
hookitt 1 #8 September 26, 2009 Nice. I've soared my Stiletto going about 50 feet above the launch point down 50 feet below, and back up. Also soared back and forth like you were doing and did that until I got tired and let it fly down. It was a VERY long flight down a 600 foot hill. It's a great canopy. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
