SkydiveMonkey 0 #6 January 9, 2003 Mail Ned at Ned@Pisa.co.za - most of the other people there are still away (until the 12th I think)____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
steve1 5 #7 January 9, 2003 I had an awful time communicating with South Africa, from the states, when I ordered my canopy. Most of my telephone calls wouldn't go through. Some of the fax numbers also didn't work. Don't give up, though. I got a super canopy at an unbelievable price, in about a months time. I dealt with Manny. Will PS I dealt with Ned Luker (ned@pisa.co.za) too - prompt replies to my emails every time.
larry 0 #10 January 11, 2003 QuoteI dealt with Ned Luker (ned@pisa.co.za) too - prompt replies to my emails every time. Ned is great. I bought a used PISA COE-D and had some questions about it. He replied quickly and (I feel) went out of his way to pull out old manufacturing records to give me precise info on it. Was very nice especially since I was not buying from them.“Now click your heels together 3 times so you can return to Kansas to live in poverty with your teetotaling, dirt farming aunt and uncle!” paraphrased Prof. Farnsworth
steve1 5 #11 January 11, 2003 Some of the problems I had were probably my fault. The telephone numbers I used probably had the wrong prefix. Dialing overseas is all different from here in the states. I don't know why the fax numbers I gave them wouldn't go thru. I never did receive the proper order form. I just drew out on a piece of paper what I wanted and included my credit card number. Worked like a charm that time. Steve1
dragon2 2 #12 January 11, 2003 Regarding telephone/fax numbers: For a dutch number you'd need to lose the first zero. Ie a dutch number could be something like 0183-623456. If you want to dial that from outside Holland it'd be your national exit code + the code for Holland (=31) plus the number minus the zero. +31 183 623456. Don't know for which countries this goes, I do know it's the same for Belgium and Germany. Worth a try, tho, next time ciel bleu, Saskia
