stayhigh 2 #30 January 30, 2013 you forgot "when in doubt add another rotation." . . When it comes to choosing a canopy, remember that you are a grown ass man, make your own decision, life is too short being told what to do. That goes for when you sell your canopy to a newbie as well. Got money??? You've got my canopy.Bernie Sanders for President 2016

Either way, it goes for way more than just your main. Same thing when picking a reserve. Same thing when choosing a pull altitude. Same thing when planning a skydive. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

piisfish 140 #38 February 26, 2013 Quote...and the Lord spake, saying "First shalt thou open thy parachute, When thou seekest to land thyself then shalt thou do three hook turns, no more, no less. Three shall be the number of hook turns thou shalt do, and the number of the hook turns shall be three. Four hook turns shalt thou not do, neither hook turn thou twice, excepting that thou then proceed to three hook turns. Five hook turns is right out. Once the hook turns are three, being the third hook turn, then prepare thou thy most precious face and sacred body to meet earth, and thus since thou art being naughty in my sight, I shall snuff you deep into the ground for all to see, and behold my wonderous power." -- Landings 2:9-21 words from greg Gasson scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

Huha 0 #49 June 25, 2013 I have been jumping for a long time, though not much and not often. I had learned to listen to the voice in my head... When I gently pull down and hold the front riser for the final turn, there is usually a voice in my head saying: "Just a little bit more..!" I had learned that that is, actually, just the perfect time to let go of the riser. Regards, Huha (>o<-<
