Nick 0 #1 June 11, 2004 A friend has written a bit of software for mobiles (dosn't work on all) that randomly produces dives from the 2004 pool, and displays the formations (coloured formations). It's a java app, so if your phone supports java, it *should* work. There are two modes: 'Continuous Draws' randomly selects a new dive from the complete pool every time; 'Competition Draw' draws completely separate dives to those seen previously. To download, point the wap browser on your phone to http://wap.dougalseeley.com/ and select 'DiveGen'. If that doesn't work, (some phones (Samsung, Sony) don't like it), try going directly to the file: http://wap.dougalseeley.com/download/DiveGen/DiveGen.jad (although this doesn't seem to work on some Nokia phones). It's a UK wap site so not sure if you'll be able to get it if your in an other country. Enjoy, Nick Gravity- It's not just a good idea, it's the LAW! dseeley 0 #2 June 14, 2004 Cheers Nick! The wap site should work on most (wap-enabled) phones now (in any country). The java app is quite big (~120k, because of the pictures), and some phones don't allow such large apps. I have built a no-pictures version (~12k), which is also downloadable from the wap site. The dives are drawn from the UK pool, so the junior and intermediate draws may not be useful elsewhere. If there is any interest, it wouldn't be too hard to make it more flexible.
