rigging65 0 #3 February 3, 2003 Action Air Parachutes holds several week-long certification classes per year for Senior Rigger candidates. If you're interested, contact sales@actionair.com and they'll give you the info you need. There's a course upcoming in about a month or so. dkpbxman 0 #4 February 4, 2003 Don't know any specifics but Dave DeWolf (often considered the world's best rigger) usually gives a course every year at his loft in Pennsylvania, USA. Email him at paraloft@aol.com with any questions. Good luck.
Gravitymaster 0 #5 February 5, 2003 Dave only holds one course per year. It is usually around the second week in January. You are correct, it is a very good course and Dave is probably the foremost authority on rigging.
slotperfect 7 #6 February 6, 2003 I would like to add my endorsement to two of the above recommendations: 1) I have received valuable training from Dave DeWolf. He is a great teacher and very easy to learn from. Practical to a tee. 2) I attended the USAPR Master Rigger Course, and highly recommend Sandy and Brenda Reid's course to anyone. It is extremely comprehensive and as in-depth as you want to make it. John
