falling.gator 0 #1 December 28, 2004 I'm currently a freshman at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), a new skydiver, and the VP of Advertising for UF's Falling Gators Skydiving Club. I began jumping in July '04 and currently have 36 jumps. That doesn't seem like much, but thanks to some awesome coaching and a small DZ I've already completed a couple 8 ways, several 6, 5, 4, 3 ways. You get the picture. It is now my goal to put together a competitive 4 way team for next year's collegiate nationals. I'm going to be attending collegiates this week in Lake Wales to get some input on how to best go about pulling together a team. I thought that some people on here could also give me some great advice on building a team, training, coaching, cash-flow, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. JGarcia 0 #3 February 15, 2005 Hey Jared! Just saw your post. Have you gotten a chance to talk to any of the FG's about your interests? If you're coming out to the DZ this weekend, I'll talk to you about how we put together a team a few years back when I was President of the FG's. It won't be easy, and it will be quite frustrating at times. But if you can get another 4 or 5 people (you'll definitely need alternates) that are willing to put in the time, $$, and dedication, you'll be better prepared to compete at next year's Collegiate Nationals.
