yjumpinoz 0 #1 October 13, 2006 What are the most elite large RW events in order of importance. I am sure there are different opinions and I am curious why certain events are special.

Ron 10 #4 October 13, 2006 Cops I would agree. QuoteLarge: AZ Challenge Perris Power play Kaleidoscope I would say : Any World Event AZ Challenge Kaleidoscope But thats just my opinion. I base it on I have seen/heard little of the Perris event, but everyone seems to know Kaleidoscope."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
Remster 30 #5 October 13, 2006 QuoteI base it on I have seen/heard little of the Perris event, but everyone seems to know Kaleidoscope. Hence the elite status! Seriously, ist the Perris version of the Challenge, and its a smaller too. Thats why I see it as maybe above Kaleidoscope in its eliteness. But, I think your point is valid too! As far as athe Worl events, I dunno.. I think its harder to get an invite to the Challenge (and possibly Perris)Remster
yjumpinoz 0 #6 October 13, 2006 I figured that those three would be the ones, but I didn't know what order they would be. I have not participated in them yet, but have some opportunities to now. I think it also has a lot to do whether someone was wanting on the world team.

yjumpinoz 0 #8 October 13, 2006 Yes it does, but its not every year like other events.
rehmwa 2 #9 October 13, 2006 Sure, but the question didn't state "annual" (but, periodic comps is a good assumption) ... bodypilot1 0 #12 October 14, 2006 Quote I would say : Any World Event AZ Challenge Kaleidoscope The Challenge is alot more technical flying then what we do on World Team, and to what we do at Kaleidoscope. The World Team jumps took far more ground and air prep to complete the formation though and required basic large formation skills. The Challenge took both large formation skills and competition skills to complete.
