Viking 0 #1 January 23, 2002 Do you guys know of anyone that does this how do they do it, What camera do they use? I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver
quade 4 #2 January 23, 2002 Yeah, I know of several folks out there that have shot 2 1/4.It's heavy. The cycle time is kinda long. It's expensive. Ya don't get a lot of exposures on roll.I suppose there may be a few reasons to do it -- like a commissioned advertisment -- but for day-to-day use I can see no advantage. If I -had- to do it for some paying gig, I'd rent the camera.quadehttp://futurecam.com

quade 4 #4 January 24, 2002 Check out the Mamiya stuff.I think I'd try to rent a Mamiya 645 AFD if I could.I could swear that both Raoul and Skeff have fooled around with a Pentax 645 on occasion. You should be able to find ample information on-line about the actual cameras. However as to their suitability for freefall . . . like I said before, they're big and heavy.quadehttp://futurecam.com
