prost 0 #1 May 22, 2002 Anyone taken a look at this new digital still camera? It looks great for skydiving except for the price tag, but even that is better than previous digital slr cameras. B&H lists it for $2199. It is a 6.3 mega pixel camera that shoots 3 frames per sec up to 8 frames at that resolution. Its size is similar to any normal slr. I want. I want.William
jdhill 0 #2 May 22, 2002 I have heard that it has an issue with the time it takes to clear the buffer to the CF card... the E-20 has the same issue when shooting at full resolution... You may be able to get 8 shots in the bufffer but then you are done for 30-40 seconds. Don't know for sure that this is the case w/ the D-60 but have read a few reviews on it that indicated such. Still looks like a great camera w/ some potential.http://www.aerialfusion.com
prost 0 #3 May 22, 2002 That is if you use it in continuous shooting mode. In other words when you hold down the button it just keeps taking pics as fast as it can untill it fills the buffer. You can still use it in single frame mode (each time you press the release it takes a pic) without this problem.William
