Pablito 0 #1 July 10, 2002 Hey Guys how you doing? I'm a newbie in the Aerial photography (Video) wanting to get a Still camera. I have no freaking Idea about cameras. Some people say buy Nikon, other Canon, others pentax. and so on and on. The truth is I have no Idea. what is the difference. Some are heavier, more metal, more plastic. Help. Another thing. how do you call the mode where you plug the blow or tongue switch. Where can I learn. Please Help!!! Thanks Cielos Azules Pablito "If you don't overcome your fears they will overcome you first" Shady Monkey/6Segundos Rodriguez/AKA Pablito
Deuce 1 #2 July 10, 2002 Stop with the foreigner stuff. You are a citizen of the nation of the sky. The tongue switch Pier sells comes with a 2.5mm jack. To make your life easier, get a camera that accepts that jack. I got a Nikon N70 and had to solder up a jack to make it work. I like my Nikon cameras, but that was a pain. I think most of the Canon's have the 2.5mm jack, and some of the older Nikons. Check out all the great webpages listed in the thread on "got hired by a four way team" You also don't need an autofocus, just auto advance and auto metering. Buena Suerte!
