sony DCR-PC101

Does anybody use the Sony DCR-PC101? Im considering buying one but Id like some feedback before I go shell out 1200.00 for a camera. It seems like a nice camera. Will it fit in one of the boxes made by Bonehead? Hey thanks for your help

Its basiclly the replacement for the phased out PC9 which replaced the PC5. The 101 will probally fit the PC-9s box, but call Bonehead to confirm. Check out some of the better online vendors for a better deal then street price. My personal fav is www.dbuys.com, but they are not carring the 101 yet.

Yeah, I have a friend that bought a pc-110 at dbuys and got a great deal on it. I think he paid about $600 under what it was going for at best buy and circut city. Don't know anything about the pc-101 though.

Does anyone know if they work with a Cam Eye 2?
I know that they have a LANC port but do they need the LANC adaptor?

I'll take a beer bet that it doesnt.. I think the 101 and 110 are much larger overall then the previous gen of the PCs... thats what you get for megapixel still capability....

If it has a lanc port it should work with the cameye2.

I hope it does because I'm having a cameye 2 fitted with my new pc 101 to my new helmet !!!

Not sure about the lanc port though (I don't know a lot about these things yet ....)
