TomAiello 26 #2 July 28, 2002 I am not a fan of the Bluetooth (BT) standard. It seems too slow for any serious video work. If you're looking to start into video, I'd get a cheaper camera, and focus on the features you'll really use. Plus, as a beginning videographer, you're at a far higher risk of smashing your camera, so a cheaper one makes sense that way, too.-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
quade 4 #3 July 28, 2002 So, um, updated the ol' profile lately? It says you only have 75 jumps. Are you sure you want to start camera flying quite yet?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Deuce 1 #4 July 28, 2002 Suggestion 1: Listen to veterans. None of the good ones will recommend you jump a camera at your level. Use that money to jump like a monkey on crack. THEN use the money your monkey hasn't spent on camera stuff. Suggestion 2: If you're going to use the camera mostly for jumping, get a PC9 sized camera. I've got a 110 and I'm not using the extra features when it's in my helmet. The extra size and weight wouldn't be missed.
