base698 15 #1 August 29, 2002 I'm getting back into video and just got a PC5. Was curious what parts people routinely tape up to keep out wind or keep parts on. Any other suggestions?
PhreeZone 20 #2 August 29, 2002 Toss the thing in a Dbox and you don't need to tape anything up. The entire PC series camera really works well since there is almost no reports of tape flutter, all the parts are already hard mounted on the cam (Only exception is the WA lens) and its ready to jump out of the box. That being said... I'd look at securing the focus ring better. 2 rings have broken in the recent past at the DZ. 1 was a PC-1 and one was a PC5. Riser slap probally was the cause since both were on L brackets and exposed. Other then that... the D-box should take care of 95% of the issues.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
