Hand strap question

Hey,

I got my Hawkeye LT yesterday (yahoo !!) and i'm wondering what should i do with the hand strap of my pc-101 camera. I use a "L" bracket and I know I can cut it. Is there a way to keep the strap.


What did you do with your hand strap ??

I chopped mine off of my PC110. Some of the newer models were to have removable straps with a few screws. Is the 101 one of those?

On the 101, there's a screw on the front, but the but is jammed on the DV tape cover !!

I just cut mine off on the PC-100. You get used to holding it without the strap. For other, non-skydiving ventures (sex), I use a tripod.
Oh, forgot, I fly my PC-100 in a bonehead D-box.

I pulled mine really tight, then ran a velcro strap through it and the frame. Even if the lid falls off, that camera isn't going anywhere.

I chopped mine off- I"ve seen some people keep theirs on and attach the free end to the back of their helmet.
