ColdDuck 0 #1 October 16, 2002 I was wondering if any of you use a fisheye converter for stills? Thinking about getting one just for fun. newshooter12 0 #2 October 17, 2002 A fisheye can be a lot of fun if you've got the $750ish (Nikor AF from B&H) to spare. Sure makes some cool pix, but not an every day lens. I want to grab a 20 or 24 next... I like keeping the full framing while getting a little bit of distortion/bend. matt
ColdDuck 0 #3 October 17, 2002 I don't mean an actual fisheye lense. If I had lots of money I would probably go with one. What I am referring to is a converter that is attached to the end of your normal lense. They usually cost around $100 one I saw gave a circular 192 degree field of view. newshooter12 0 #4 October 18, 2002 I see... I use a similar screw on adapter at work. It works out well for the couple shots here and there when I need it. How much does it add to the length of the lens? matt
ColdDuck 0 #5 October 21, 2002 It adds about 2.6 inches and about 9oz. "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"
