favaks 0 #1 November 4, 2002 The trv18 is alot cheaper than the trv25 or trv17. Is there a problem with this camcorder, because it's never been mentioned at all. Cajones 0 #2 November 4, 2002 Nothing "wrong" with the 18. It doesn't have the image quality of the TRV-30/50 or the PC-115/120, but definitely cheaper. I'd say look at the standard that is expected where you are working and decide if it's worth the extra $$$ to go to the 30. The laws of physics are strictly enforced. Pendejo 0 #3 November 5, 2002 A good friend of mine just bought one. It looks very cool. Its a little shorter than the trv30 that I own but is also wider. We tried it in the D-box I have and it will not fit. If you plan to use a D-box with it I would call and see if they make a box that size.
