lowpullin1 0 #1 November 8, 2002 ok got a question. when jumping camera is it ok to place the slider behind your head. i was told that it makes a noticeable performance diffence in the way your canopy flies. but i am concerned about the chance of the slider snaging on my top mount camera, if i had a cutaway. is this a valid concern or not?? chachi 0 #2 November 8, 2002 I personally pull my slider down, roll it a bit, and put it in my mouth. I also know if I had to cut away after that I would grab slider with left hand, push it in front of me and cut away. It is something I practice on ground, gear up, and in plane. Forgot the point, alot of people put it behind there head I think it is fine, as long as you have in place, and practice an emergency procedure to deal with it if neccesary. ~chachi

PhreeZone 20 #4 November 11, 2002 Its a valid concern, you just need to come up with a way yo lower the snagability of the slider by either protecting the camera more or by lowering the catchability of the slider. Velcro wraps in addition to kill lines will do this.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
