ColdDuck 0 #1 December 12, 2002 Does anyone use this camera, how would it compare to the Rebel 2000 Thanks "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"
garywainwright 0 #2 December 12, 2002 I jump in England and I think that camera is called an F65 over here. If so its an entry level SLR that i don't think will be of much use. The main reason is that there is no where to plug in an electronic shutter release - you have to use the mechanical screw in option which i wouldn't like to use in freefall. Nikon have done this with a lot of their newer models. Also i think the Flash sync is down to 1/90th, certainly no quicker than 1/125th. I've never used Canon and never heard of a Rebel 2000 (its probably called something different over here!!)http://www.garywainwright.co.uk Instagram gary_wainwright_uk
freekflyguy 0 #3 December 12, 2002 The Rebel 2000, is the US version of the EOS 300. I use an EOS 500, but have just seen the new EOS 300V which is lighter than the 500 and shoots 2.8 frames a sec. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. Deuce 1 #4 December 12, 2002 I jump a N70, I think it's the next step up. I've said this lots of times, but I'd recommend the Canon just for the convenience of the prewired conceptus shutter releases. I'd get a Rebel 2000 if I had to do it again, with a good Canon lens.
