thrillseek 0 #1 January 7, 2003 I'm producing a +/- 35min long skydiving movie and find it easier to put on DVDs....Problem is, lots of people want VHS....anyone have any advice/experience with this?? Scratching my head here, A.T.
wlie 0 #2 January 8, 2003 In Premiere, there's a "Print to Video" command somewhere I believe. That should channel the output to the analog or s-video that you've specified. Hit record on the device and Bob's your uncle right? My other ride is the relative wind.
indyz 1 #3 January 8, 2003 If you have the video on a computer for editing... Dump the finished VHS version of the product back to a DV camera via firewire, then from the camera go to a VCR. For multiple copies, you can get your hands on a VHS duplicator, or just go camera-to-VCR over and over.
thrillseek 0 #4 January 8, 2003 Let's just say that i only had the dvd...if it isn't "protected", could you somehow hook up a DVD player to a VCR and record like that? Charles Darwin would love me...I am a technological evolution in progress
wlie 0 #5 January 8, 2003 Absolutely! RCA jacks make miracles happen. Even if it is protected, I've got around it by running the output from the DVD player into my TV, then from the TV's output to the VCR. (I've got one of them Toshiba's with RCA input and output jacks) My other ride is the relative wind.
indyz 1 #6 January 8, 2003 If your DVD doesn't have Macrovision, or you can turn it off, then you can just go straight from the DVD to a VCR. The nice people at vcdhelp.com have a section devoted to dvd hacks, which, among other things, can turn of Macrovision on some players.
