nowseathis 0 #1 February 1, 2003 Dear Skydive Enthusiast: I’m a producer with the an internationally syndicated reality clip show called, “Now See This”. We are interested in acquiring dramatic, story driven footage that you or one of your friends may have shot! (No diving in cars please!) If you have or know of any good stories that might be good for our show...I’d love to hear from you! Drop me a e-mail and lets talk some more about your video! AggieDave 6 #2 February 1, 2003 Quotenowseathis@hotmail.com You know, I've always had a very hard time taking anyone seriously who used Hotmail (or AOL, MSN, Prodigy or any thing else along those lines) as their professional e-mail address. Maybe that's just me or maybe I would think that if a business was serious they would have either A) a professional host, not a free-type address or B) their own domain (atleast for e-mail).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Kris 0 #3 February 1, 2003 And it's equally interesting that he posts a Hotmail addy here and a Yahoo addy in the Talkback forum. KrisSky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
quade 4 #4 February 1, 2003 I've bumped into Mike on the internet a couple of times. He's -really- interested in crash and burn footage. Prices for stuff like this ought to go for at least $700 per minute -- one minute minimum. konradptr 0 #5 February 3, 2003 I kind of feel sorry for this guy, since "sea" and "see" mean different things. But you would think that he would know that, since he is the boss of this show...? ------------------------------------------ Getting banned isn't that bad...... Better yet,,, stay away from this guy all together..He reminds me of some type of ambulance chaser,,, he is just a middle man,,, As a responsible video person,, I would be very careful about parting with footage that may show a problem, or an accident or an injury,,, or anything which may reflect poorly on our sport...... On the other hand if we have Great footage,,, amazing footage, complimentary footage,,, and it is worthy of broadcast,,,, we should not need this dude to "represent' us..... nor should we simply "hand over " what we may have created...... He's a lurker.. I say ,," If he wants skydiving footage,,He can learn How to skydive,, He can invest in thousands of dollars worth of skydiving equipment, he can invest in thousands of dollars of camera equipment,,, He can learn to be in the right place at the right instant,,,,," otherwise,,, we should be able to "represent" ourselves,, just fine,, without this self proclaimed "producer'......just my $.

I know Englis is not your first language, but you could at least read the entire comment before getting your knickers in a twist. Dave said he had problems taking seriously someone who used a frr email addy such as Hotmail or Yahoo!for their business address. Your snipping of his quote lends a completely different meaning. If it was an attemp at humor, it didn't work. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
