Deuce 1 #1 February 3, 2003 I'm looking at the Bat-rack, cause it will let me put both a digital SLR and a film SLR up top, with the PC120 on the side, where I prefer it. Anybody got any pictures of a setup like this? (Sidemount on a Bat-rack?) Chow. JP

Rdutch 0 #4 February 3, 2003 I use a half rack with a side mount. It works great. Dont know about the bat-rack but I dont see where there will be a problem Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of!
Deuce 1 #5 February 4, 2003 Thanks guys, the profile on that side is the same, nice to know it's working for other camera flyers. 'Preciate it. jp
cameramonkey 0 #6 February 4, 2003 ask and ye shall receive. I fly a Bat with an XJaket. It works really well for me. My only complaint is I could swear the XJakets were supposed to be carbon fiber. However when I use a grinder on mine, it produces white dust. Last count I had, white dust means fiberglass, and black dust means carbon. I could be mistaken. Maybe its not supposed to be carbon. I love mine. I am strongly considering moving to a top mount with a roll cage. I dont like the limitations on the battery. early and late in the season, my small battery (the only one that fits in the dbox) freezes up about 10 seconds out and I lose power. SO here in Indiana in March/April and October/November, I have to top mount it anyway so I can put my big battery on it. Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO! Deuce 1 #7 February 4, 2003 Ah. Perfectamundo, Cameramonkey, and yet further proof of the justification that Sangiro can have anything that I own to borrow. You even have the same camera mount, the Stroboframe. Thanks. JP
cameramonkey 0 #8 February 4, 2003 Iffn ya think thats cool, check out this little doozy... All I need is my dremel, some gaffers tape, a hot glue gun and some epoxy, and I am dangerous. Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO!
Deuce 1 #9 February 4, 2003 Yes. My Dude, that is cooleriffic. Yowza. On the new Bat-racks, that side is high-gloss carbon-fiber finish, isn't it? Fabulous hand control with the Dremel, my man. Very custom. JP
cameramonkey 0 #10 February 4, 2003 actually, its not as cool as you think. what you SEE is the mount plate from a parasport Z1 helmet. behind that plate is the rough cut for the audible. the plate is bolted to the helmet, and the audible screws down on the back side to secure it. They also make those plates for pro tracks too in case you wanted to do it to one of your helmets as well. Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO!
