davidfreefly 0 #1 February 8, 2003 Hello, My name is david I´m a freeflyer from spain and i want to buy a videocamera for skydiving. My question is about the camera model: I am interested on a PANASONIC NV-GS 1 EGM DIGITAL. with a Gath helmet (or similar) is a good camera for skydiving??? Where is the best place to put it on the helmet?. Should i put it on the left side of the helmet or it is too big and it´s better to put it on the top ?? blue skies from spain ________________________ DAVID DOVAL www.paracaidismogalicia.com
PhreeZone 20 #2 February 8, 2003 Get Sony.... there is a reason they are used most often, they actually hold up to skydiving unlike most the other cameras out there.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
cameramonkey 0 #3 February 11, 2003 not to mention you get the helmet manufacturers making enclosures for ONLY sony cams. you might be able to get it to work, but its a hard to tell. also, be prepared for it NOT to, or for it to wear out quickly because it isnt build as sturdy as a sony. oh, and no matter how many threads you start on this topic, the answer isnt gonna change Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO!
