thechutist 0 #1 March 11, 2003 I'm posting this on behalf of a rigger who has been asked to install such a modification on a set of Vectors. Can anyone recommend a source of design / installation information for such a configuration? Regards, Herb Thompson
Hooknswoop 19 #2 March 11, 2003 Sunpath, Altico, and now, I believe, Mirage Systems all produce BOC's w/ a "Reserve Side Main Pull". There are probably others too. Hook

Regards, Herb Thompson I believe Kirk Smith (master rigger) was the first to do this, for Skydive Chicago's AFP program, on Javelin containers. Originally they had to do it under waiver until the BSRs were changed.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
riggerrob 643 #5 March 11, 2003 Double-sided BOC retrofit kits are available for Rigging Innovations. They are almost as easy to sew on as regular BOCs. I few years back I retrofitted all 14 of the Perris Skydiving School's 14 student Telesis rigs over the course of one week (Monday to Friday).
rigging65 0 #6 March 11, 2003 We designed and built our own (like most on the market) and have been using them for some two years. It's a pretty easy design to build, although I don't know if it'd be cheaper to build them or but them. "...and once you had tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward. For there you have been, and there you long to return..."
