LouDiamond 1 #1 February 14, 2003 Believe it or not, I went to several large camera stores around here and non of them had a .5 wide angle lens, some even looked surprised that there was such a thing. My question to "utes guys" is who have you used in the past with good results when ordering lenses? I was hoping to get a hands on because I would like to see the differences between the kenko and the diamond I've read about on here, but no joy."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
Deuce 1 #2 February 14, 2003 My brother, if you're gonna wear it while skydiving within arms reach of the other jumpers, there's no question the Diamond .3 is better. I finally figured out how to use the .3 with the "sports" shutter setting (it makes the props look really cool). When Max gets a .5 or .6 in that configuration, I'll sell you my Kenko, cheap. If you're doing tandems or over-the-top RW, you gotta have a .5 or .6. For mail-order, I like B&H. They're a little higher $, but they don't screw around with you.
