allrightscud 0 #4 February 27, 2003 www.symbiosissuits.co.uk Its a UK firm run by Rob Copus The web site under construction at the moment, but they do have order forms to download. I'm in the process of ordering a RW suit at the moment. I know a lot of people who have them and have only good things to say about them. Tom Too much is never enough! All right scud? nacmacfeegle 0 #5 February 27, 2003 All the suits I use and have ever used (except one) have been built by Symbi. I have no complaints about them, the couple of camera suits they built for me had big wings, as long as you are not jumping a leg strap throwout system they will be fine. I heard a report many years ago where a camera flier pulled his legstarp mounted PC through the wing/thigh connector with predictable results, and ensuing drama. First time you jump a suit with big wings, it may be advisable to to a few practice pulls, and pull high, on a no pressure jump. The big wings can be tricky to manage at pull time, but no big deal if you are aware of this in advance.-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. My suit is a Symbi and yes the wings are big. Jumped it again this past weekend, no chops, no drama as long as you make sure the left wing stays collapsed when you pull. I've only jumped it a handful of times so can't give you any feedback re. jumping the suit. I can say that the suit fits really well and looks like it will hold up quite well.
