Neither...wherever you can find cheap gas-station priced sunglasses, try them on. Make sure they are tight at the top, attach a sunglasses strap and jump with the sunglasses. I haven't worn goggles since I had 20 jumps.

But if you really must have goggles I like the kroops;)

I use FlexZ's. They're more expensive than Kroops, but they last five times as long. Flexible soft plastic takes scratches without showing them, doesn't crack and can be stuffed in a pocket and come back out ready to go. No loss of peripheral vision either.

Speaking of googles, does anyone of you guys wear 'prescription' googles?, I'm thinking in purchasing a pair from SportRx, and I'd like to hear some opinions.

Thanks

I use 'ski' googles with colored frames.

I thought about prescription, but intend to get Lasic sooner or later.

A lot of freefliers and swoopers are using Gatorz with sunglasses straps, but I dont want to spend $100+

1. are the googles with the small holes on their sides. right?
2. if the price of FlexZ's is the same as 'Blaze' or any other 'ski look' goggles ?

does anyone knows if it's possible to buy them (FlexZ's) in any sport store in the US (cause i want to ask a friend there to buy for me)...

Have your friend call Square One, he/she might even get to talk to a genuine Womens Formation record-holding greenie - LIVE !!

Plus, they ship fast. Even if you buy small stuff.

I have a pair of SportRX G-107s done in the same prescription of my glasses. The work good for me. There is a little distortion around the edges of the goggles, but that might be because my prescription is actually a little bit beyond the recommended maximum. Also, you can expect the reduction in peripheral vision that comes with any goggle in that style.

Hmmm. Just a question about the cheap-sunglasses-and-strap idea. I assumed the idea was to keep the wind out of the eyes and avoid having to squint. Won't in just come screaming round the open edges all the way around in RW, yet alone FF?

Thanks, actually I'm thinking in getting the G108, they look a little 'wider' and cooler :P

Hmm. I bought 2 pair and have put (about) 20 jumps or so on each and they are really falling apart. That sucks.

I think I'm going to have to go with something else.

Has anyone tried those sunglasses looking type that have the harder foam around the edges ? Those looks pretty good.
