christopherm 0 #1 April 23, 2003 Okay... question. I know that you are supposed to have the ring sight over your dominent eye. My left eye is deffinately the dominent eye but since I started doing video, I've had it over my right eye. I'm used to it this way. Does it effect your accuracy to have it over the recessive eye or does it matter? If I need to, is it a big deal to switch the mount on a flat top pro?-So, how hard is the ground?! AggieDave 6 #2 April 23, 2003 Here's my $0.02... I'm right handed, but left eye dominant. I shoot pistol with my left eye, but right handed. Since I'm absolute clutz with a rifle in my left hand, I shoot right handed/right eyed when I'm shooting rifle, and I'm very accurate. From my perspective, its all about concentration and practice.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

freeflyguy 0 #4 April 23, 2003 I use both hands, mostly, but do some stuff only left. Guns and pool for some. I am left eye dominant. Thing I would say, you don't want to have to squint to do video, you need to be able to keep both eyes comfortably open. If you use your non dominant eye for the sight, that may be tough. If you can do it, then go ahead and use the nondominant. No big. Me, I set up the site on the left. nother benefit of the site on the left, it is hooked to the cam bracket. That way, it also moves when I change cam position. ---------------------------- bzzzz
