yardhippie 0 #1 May 6, 2003 I was lookin at some of the previous posts on lenses for video work and have decided on a .5 to .45 for my PC101. Was wondering where I could find one? I have tried (online) at B & H and at 2filter.com and cant find anything for 30mm. Any ideas? freeflyguy 0 #4 May 7, 2003 Sony has a .5 that is 30mm, but a step ring is no big deal either. I step my Kenko, and it is fine ---------------------------- bzzzz

Deuce 1 #6 May 7, 2003 Hermano Mohoso, go here: http://www.royal-lens.com/ I have Max's .3 and the .5, you can get them both in 30mm ringsize. JP
freeflyguy 0 #7 May 7, 2003 Do you think that diamond is too wide for Tandem? ---------------------------- bzzzz
Deuce 1 #8 May 7, 2003 Depends on which one. I use the .5 for tandems and RW, I use the .3 for Freeflying and any inside video. You can bump-zoom them both about a third of the way before they get fuzzed out. What I mean is you can bump-zoom the .3 to about a .5, and the .5 to about a .75. chachi 0 #9 May 7, 2003 I use the Sony .6 for filming and it is great. 30mm ring and I have heard (I think Quade not sure) that the Sony .6 is wider thean the Kenko .42. It is a nice lens, very small. http://www.sonystyle.ca/webapp/commerce/servlet/ProductDisplay?merchant_rn=1&prrfnbr=27461&cgrfnbr=2244&catLandNum=2230&parent=CAMERA_ACCESSORIES This is the Canadian product, so I am sure on SOny USA it will be cheaper. ~Chachi
