mdowling 0 #1 May 19, 2003 I've got the camera body, but I'm trying to decide on the lense. I've read all the specs, but I'm looking for some real life experience to help me decide if the 24mm is worth the extra dough. (It's about a $140 difference on B&H). Thanks for your help. quade 4 #2 May 19, 2003 If you're just starting out in camera flying, the 28mm is probably going to be a better choice. It let's you be just slightly farther back and still have things not look quite so much like ants. Wider than 28mm and you may have to be -really- close to your subjects.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
jdhill 0 #3 May 19, 2003 I agree with Q... for an all around lens, the 28 is a better choice. JoshAll that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. - Edmund Burke
Deuce 1 #4 May 19, 2003 Ditto. With a .5 of some type on your video the 28 is a good match framing-wise.
mdowling 0 #5 May 19, 2003 Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the advice from those in the know. I'm definitely going with the 28. B&H even has a couple used ones for a pretty reasonable price.
