jose 0 #1 June 1, 2003 I am looking to get a new wide angle lens. I currently have a 0.45x Kenko, which is cheap at around 50 bucks. I have been told that the optics are poor with this lens, softening the image and not giving accurate color replication. There is also alot of barrel effect with this lens. I am interested in a lens of the same angle or slightly less, maybe the 0.42x, that is of quality contruction. Of course, cost is an issue, so if there is a lens out there that comes just shy of a 300 dollar lens, but only costs 150, I'll take it. But if there is no relpacement for a quality lens, let me know. Thanks for your replies Brad

rredman 0 #3 June 2, 2003 I assume you are talking about a video lens. I have a Diamond .3 and it is fabulous ($175 US). It is very wide, so you have to stay close, but the clarity and colour are amazing.

KawiZX900 0 #5 June 2, 2003 look into Century Precision glass. it'll run you the tune of 250-450 though Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds.
